Weekend Staycation: Microtel By Wyndham Review

Microtel targets to give a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay to its guests. Microtel by Wyndham currently has several branches in the Philippines the one we stayed at is in Cavite.

Lobby

The lobby was humble with the reception area and seats available for guests who are waiting. We usually check in late at night and wasn’t able to see really guests queuing for their turn. Anyway, it was a quick process for us. They usually ask for all the names of the guests who will be staying per room. I really appreciate that the receptionists were all very approachable knowing also that they do answer our calls from our rooms to give us our requests they were really accommodating.

Bedroom

Their bedrooms were always clean and with a refreshing feeling as you enter.

The Bed – We were given 2 twin size bed that’s 2 person per bed for us. One additional pillow is free of charge.

The Bathroom – The size of the bathroom I would say is practical. No separate doors for the shower area and the toilet. Basic toiletries were also provided and if in case you need extra towels don’t hesitate to request for one its free.

The fridge – No complimentary drinks nor drinks and foods that are for sale was displayed.

Amenities

Pool Area – There’s only one pool but I never saw it crowded with people swimming.

Shuttle Service – Unlimited ride from and back to Microtel only but it was surely really helpful and convenient and cost saving. If you’re riding a P2P bus you can call them to pick you up from the Nuvali station and ask them to drop you off as well.

Breakfast – They offer a good amount of variety of choices from heavy breakfast to light breakfast. I often eat toast with strawberyy jam and egg though. They have the Filipino breakfast foods like longganisa, tosino and pancit as well as cereals and fruits.

I would say I really had a very comfortable stay in Microtel from our rooms, their shuttle service to having accommodating staffs. I really recommend the place since its budget friendly as well.
