Hotel Review – Technopark Hotel (Laguna)

I think the thing I look forward the most in my job is being able to try out different hotels. Not as extravagant as others but will surely treasure the experience.

We had an overnight stay in Technopark Hotel which is located inside the Laguna Technopark. We weren’t able to reserve it beforehand so it took so much time before we got our rooms. It was already late that time and we haven’t had our dinner so we really want to get things done ASAP.

LOBBY

I find their lobby elegant and comfortable at the same time. There were a lot of couches for guest to sit while waiting for their room to be ready. It was also a nice idea that a monitor displays their menu that way the guests get to know more about what they can enjoy while in the hotel.

ROOM

Maybe because we checked-in late our room is on the same floor as the lobby. At first, I was a little disappointed that our room is on the first floor because it felt like people can easily access our area. But what’s good in the first floor is you have a direct and easy access to the pool. Our room has a glass door connecting to the pool area.

The bed – We booked for the barkada deal that’s good for 3 persons so an extra bed was added in our room. We all have our own single size bed.

The bathroom – we booked for 3 rooms because there’s 8 of us and what we noticed is not all bathrooms are the same. Fortunately, our bathroom has it all we have a bath tab, shower area and a bidet. I really just can’t imagine staying in a hotel without a bidet like the other rooms. You can see traces that the hotel was built a long time ago, there were rusts in the shower itself and the hot shower can’t be controlled well. But I love that the bathroom is spacious, most hotels put together the shower area and the bath tab in here they have a separate area for the shower area

POOL

They only have one pool and I really didn’t see anyone using the pool. There are seat available near the pool for you to stay and rest or just watch over your kids swimming.

BREAKFAST

Buffet breakfast like all other hotels is included in our booking. They have enough variety of food. It’s just that I find their food a little bland for me. As the menu varies depending on the day, what was served to us were egg drop soup, fried rice, pancit, corned beef and Oranged chicken. If you want some light breakfast they also offer cereals and pastries.

STAFFS

I find the staffs not accommodating from the time we checked in, when they were verifying about our reservation. Most people in the reception area really speaks politely and welcoming but it didn’t felt like that. Also, when we called for the shuttle service, we were asked to go to the reception area with a disbelief tone. By the way their shuttle service is free only up to 9am. You’ll be charged if you asked for a service 9am onwards.
